Air-floating vibration isolation platform project for industrial inspection microscopes.

Release time:2026/7/27
Project Overview

Recently, Liva Environmental Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the bulk delivery of its air-floating vibration isolation platforms. Specifically developed to address the vibration isolation challenges of micro‑sized equipment such as laboratory microscopes and small precision inspection instruments, these platforms have achieved batch deployment thanks to their excellent low‑frequency micro‑vibration isolation capability and stable, long‑lasting operational performance. This successful delivery fully demonstrates the high recognition by both domestic and international markets of Liva's technical expertise and quality assurance in precision vibration isolation products.

 Project Pain Points

Imaging relies on an extremely stable electron beam optics path

In industrial inspection microscopy, electron microscopes rely on high‑energy electron beams to bombard samples for imaging. The electron beam wavelength is extremely short, with resolution reaching nanometer or even sub‑nanometer levels, making it highly sensitive to minute displacements. Even slight vibrations from the floor or the equipment itself can directly cause beam drift and optical path jitter, ultimately resulting in blurred images, ghosting, stripe noise, and loss of observation accuracy.

Precision electromagnetic components are susceptible to vibration interference

Electron microscopes contain precision electromagnetic components such as electromagnetic lenses, deflection coils, energy detectors, and energy‑dispersive spectrometers. Vibration can alter the physical gaps between coils and magnetic poles, causing minor magnetic field distortions. At the same time, vibration can induce micro‑displacements in circuit contacts, generating stray electromagnetic noise that disrupts signal acquisition stability and distorts spectroscopy and diffraction analysis data.

Solution

This project supplied Liva benchtop air‑floating vibration isolation platforms, effectively reducing vibration issues caused by both equipment and the external environment.

Core advantages of the Liva LT isolation platform

Diaphragm‑type air bladder air‑floating isolation structure – maximizes isolation efficiency and eliminates electron microscope imaging jitter

The platform features a diaphragm‑type air bladder air‑floating isolation structure that uses air as the medium for flexible isolation, with a low natural frequency as its core characteristic. This air bladder structure efficiently filters vibrations across all frequency bands, fundamentally preventing optical path drift, ensuring clear and stable high‑resolution images, and significantly reducing the number of repeated captures.

Four independent height adjustment mechanisms – manual leveling after load changes to suit various microscope and sample conditions

Equipped with independent height adjustment mechanisms at each corner, the platform allows quick manual leveling after equipment changes or sample load variations, with no special tools required. This platform enables easy level correction at any time, allowing rapid stabilization after sample replacement, greatly improving electron microscope inspection efficiency and reducing idle waiting time.

All stainless steel housing – high structural rigidity for superior seismic resistance and reduced equipment wear

The entire housing is made of stainless steel, providing ample rigidity and excellent overall seismic performance. It is corrosion‑resistant, resistant to deformation, and delivers stable performance over long‑term use.

Standard safe air pressure parameters – stable operation compatible with standard laboratory air supply

The standard maximum internal operating pressure is 4.5 kg/cm² (0.44 MPa), matching common laboratory air compressor specifications. The pressure range is safe and controllable, preventing air bladder overloading and deformation. This platform operates at standard air pressure compatible with standard laboratory air sources, requiring no additional modifications to air supply equipment. Long‑term operation maintains stable pressure, ensuring consistent isolation performance.

Precise and controllable operating height range – adaptable to installation height requirements for various benchtop electron microscopes

The standard operating height is 90±3 mm, with a narrow height fluctuation range and uniform, controllable platform elevation. This platform's height range is precise and consistent, allowing perfect matching with various benchtop electron microscopes without the need for extra spacers or bracket modifications.
