Equipment Operating Conditions
A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is a high-precision geometric dimension inspection device operating at micron and nanometer levels. It relies on guide rails, air bearings, linear encoders, and precision probe assemblies to perform point acquisition and spatial calculations. The motion accuracy of its core measuring components can reach micron or even sub-micron levels. During equipment operation, external vibration can directly cause probe jitter and micro-displacement of the machine body, rendering it unable to meet the inspection standards for form tolerances and dimensional accuracy of precision components.
CMMs are widely used in high-end manufacturing fields such as aerospace, precision tooling, automotive components, and semiconductors.
